The dedicated team at Irha sustains and develops objectives not just for the growth of the company but at the same time is mindful of our debt to the environment and our community. We leave no stone unturned when it comes to upholding the integrity of our corporate ethos.
At the core of Irha’s unique brand values lies the fact that we strongly believe in procuring the best raw material and thus produce only a limited edition of rice annually. This helps us deliver the best and the rarest quailty of rice without putting too much pressure on our natural resources.
Our love for the Environment
At the foundation of our principles as a company lies the principle of love for the environment, for all things raw and fresh. Right from the stage of sowing the seeds up to the stage of packaging we believe in maximizing eco-friendly practices. We discourage the use of pesticides and chemicals that disrupt the soil; engage in workshops with farmers to inculcate farming techniques that will not lead to disruption of the topography and require minimal inputs and resources. Even at the final stage of production, we ensure the use of 100% recycled material for packaging our products.
Connect with our Community
We take pride in maintaining strong relations with both the farmers who work with us as well as our customer base. We have been members of APEDA and FSSI since a long time now. These two organizations help us take care of all our needs with respect to food safety & regulation as well as product monitoring and inspection. Our connection with them has aided us to take greater steps to ensure constant improvement in our product standards, keeping our customer’s health as a top priority.
Apart from food safety, we actively invest in Research & Development to provide our farmers with the expertise they need to grow and yield a certain standard of rice. We encourage them to use a mixed practice involving both traditional and modern methods that have been known to give higher yields.
Health is Wealth
It is our promise that we keep your wellness & health as a major goal while producing rice. We cater to a large consumer base with different health needs. We produce a variety of brown and white rice, each with its own health benefits. We absolutely love educating people about the benefits of consuming different types of rice. After all, there’s nothing you can’t achieve with rice- there might not be a single place on earth where rice isn’t consumed in some form or the other. Our approach therefore has always been health driven and we stand by it unwavered.
